Indianapolis-based RCA Commercial Electronics will be growing its lighting business, adding LED lighting and lighting controls formerly sold by LG Electronics USA. The expansion is hoped to further increases RCA’s role as a player in the U.S. commercial lighting business as RCA Lighting is one of the largest commercial lighting suppliers in the country, with installations in schools, major hospitals, and UPS distribution centers throughout North America.

“We are excited to expand our business with LED lighting and lighting controls formerly sold by LG USA,” notes RCA Commercial Electronics CEO Jeff Kingston. “We look forward to continuing to offer former LG customers a broadened product line of innovative lighting solutions, backed by a strong warranty, along with the level of customer service that RCA Lighting is known for in the marketplace.”

To serve current and future customers, Kingston adds RCA intends to bring some of the former LG U.S. lighting regional managers onto its team.

“We have always made it a priority to fulfill customer orders with same-day shipping on in-stock items,” he comments. “We are well-positioned to handle this new volume, related customer support, and field maintenance, having recently opened a new 50,000-sq.-ft. Technology Center in Indianapolis.”
